The compressor cooling technology used in Dometic's CRX series offers unrivalled cooling performance. But how does it work? It's based on a refrigerant that changes from a liquid to a gas in the evaporator. The evaporation process removes heat from the inside of the refrigeration unit, so the temperature drops. The compressor sucks in the refrigerant, condenses it and transfers it to the condenser. From here the absorbed heat is released into the atmosphere. The refrigerant becomes a liquid and flows back to the evaporator, where the process starts again. The result is excellent cooling performance, even at extreme ambient temperatures.

The Dometic Coolmatic CRX 65 offers incredible 3-in-1 versatility with an interior that can be used as a full-fledged fridge, freezer or a combination of the two. The right temperature can be set via the touch control panel, which is recessed into the interior wall and is stylish: it features a built-in LED light. The included intelligent electronics automatically adjust the fan speed to the ambient temperature: full speed for high temperatures, low speed for low ambient temperatures and exceptionally quiet operation. The system controls the compressor speed autonomously, resulting in energy savings of up to 25% and keeping operating noise to a minimum.
