With the P56402 CO alarm, you can be sure for the next 10 years that your life is not in immediate danger from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a malfunctioning gas boiler, stove or clogged chimney. As the end of the alarm's lifetime approaches, the detector itself will warn you with an acoustic and visual alarm.

Optical and acoustic indication
The CO alarm is equipped with three LEDs that indicate every 30 seconds if the device is fully operational. If the detector malfunctions and does not reliably measure the CO level in the room, the LEDs will flash amber every 30 seconds and the device will simultaneously emit an acoustic alarm.

The functionality of the alarm can be checked at any time by pressing the TEST/SILENCE button. If the device is fully operational, it will emit 4 beeps and the LED will flash 4 times simultaneously.

Safety fuse
ACO alarm is equipped with a safety fuse, thanks to which you will not forget to insert the batteries in the detector. If both batteries are not inserted, two metal tabs under the battery compartment ensure that the battery compartment cover cannot be locked.

Easy installation
The P56402 is designed for wall mounting or free-standing installation anywhere in the room. The sensor has two holes for wall mounting. The alarm can be easily fixed by drilling two holes in the wall, inserting the dowels and screws provided in the package and simply hanging the unit.

Where to place the detector
The P56402 CO alarm is suitable for wall mounting in any room where fossil fuel burning appliances (wood, coal, gas, petrol, etc.) are installed. Hazardous concentrations of carbon monoxide are most often caused by failure or neglect in the maintenance of these appliances or by inadequate ventilation. It is recommended that CO detectors be installed in all rooms where we spend a lot of time (bedrooms, living rooms, children's rooms).
