The infrared thermometer can be used to measure temperatures in hard-to-reach places, on moving objects or where the measured object may be damaged by contact temperature measurement. The thermometer detects heat radiation in the infrared region of the spectrum and converts it into a temperature value. It is equipped with a targeting laser which helps to accurately aim at the measured point.
