LR54 Dry Cell

If you have previously used MR54 batteries, you can safely switch to LR54, although there is some difference in their properties, but we will notice little of this. But the LR54 battery is also known by another name. If we see the following markings on the battery, such as G10A, KA54, 189-1, RW89, L1131, V10GA, GP89A, LR1130, 189, 389A, 390A, AG10, D189, we can be sure that it is an LR54 button cell, but it is produced under a different name.

But here's a question that the DND Telecom webshop customer service team often encounters. Namely, can LR44 batteries be replaced by LR54 mini batteries? The answer is no. Although the voltage and diameter of both energy cells are the same, they are both 1.5 volts and 11.6 mm, the height of the LR44 battery is 5.4 mm, while the LR54 battery is only 3.1 mm. So much lower, so unfortunately the LR44 may be too large for some devices designed to accept the LR54 battery.
