• The MCROIP-01 interface allows remote management of a VHF transceiver over a local or global (Internet) network. This allows the integration of older radios into an IP network. In addition to the audio channel and the usual radio control signals (PTT, SQ), the unit also transmits the status of 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs.

• The voice transmission can be continuous, duplex or gated with signals. The audio interface of the equipment has transformer isolated 600 Ohms symmetrical inputs and outputs as well as asymmetrical inputs and outputs.
• It uses TCP/IP protocol on the IP network for transmission of signals and audio channel (fixed IP address required). The connection is constantly checked and reestablished in the event of a disconnection. It is basically a point-to-point connection, no external server is needed. The MCROIP-01 is of course not only for remote control of radio equipment. It can be used for any task requiring voice and signal transmission.
