Sirio
Sirio Antenne S.r.l. was founded more than 50 years ago by Giuseppe Grazioli. He started his business in 1972 to be precise. The founder already knew then that the future lay in wireless communications, which were once used exclusively for military purposes. He therefore dedicated his life to the wider application of this innovative technology. Read more...

What antennas does Sirio Antenne produce?
The managers of Sirio Antenne know exactly how important research and development are in the life of a company like Sirio Antenne. That's why they've put a lot of effort into constantly expanding this department over the last 50 years. The brand, which has been on the market for more than 50 years, currently has 4 fully researched sites of around 6,000 square metres.
Their research and development activities involve the development and optimisation of new products and manufacturing processes. Naturally, these activities are carried out using state-of-the-art instrumentation, electromagnetic simulation software and an anechoic chamber.
The quality and performance of their shortwave, VHF, UHF, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE 5G, Wlan and WIFI antennas, RF connectors, and the mounts and brackets developed for them are tested under extreme temperatures and humidity.
DND Telecom Ltd has been distributing Sirio antennas for over 20 years!
The company's focus is not only on research, development and manufacturing, but also on providing accurate and professional service to their partners and customers. For this reason, the company has a large stock to guarantee fast delivery of its antennas. Sirio Antenne S.r.l. has always stood out for its courageous decisions. Many companies have moved their production to the Far East in order to reduce costs.
Sirio, on the other hand, manufactures its antennas entirely in Italy. This allows for efficient and direct control of the supply chain.Precisely to ensure that they can serve their customers in neighbouring countries, they supply their customers in those countries through importers. In this context, DND Telecom Ltd has been distributing Sirio antennas and accessories for more than 20 years.
What scientific projects is Sirio involved in?
With a strong professional background in antenna development and manufacturing, the company has been involved in a very exciting international adventure since the end of 2017. The company is collaborating with the Italian Astrophysics Institute in the prototyping of the international SKA project.
They owe this to their considerable expertise in the development of the SKALA antenna, which won the tender to build the first low-frequency antenna for the SKA Observatory, abbreviated SKAO, in 2022 after nearly five years of painstaking work. But what is the SKAO project and why is it so exciting? It's an international observatory that is building the largest radio antenna farm on Earth to explore the hitherto unknown frontiers of the galaxy and the mysteries surrounding the formation of our planet and other celestial bodies.
These radio antennas will be deployed in Australia, where low-frequency antennas and in South Africa, where medium-frequency antennas will be deployed. The company is very proud to be involved in this challenging project.
