The BNC series is the most commonly used coaxial connector. With its bayonet coupling mechanism, this connector can be used up to 4 GHz. 50 and 75 Ω impedance are available. Connector styles are available for flexible, flex and semi-rigid cable types. Several variants of the BNC connector are available for mounting on printed circuit boards, both through-hole soldering and through-hole crimping techniques. Both crimp and clamp termination methods are used for this series. BNC connectors are used for signal, data and video transmission applications. Terminal surface sealing for BNC connectors between plug and jack (mated) to IP 54.
