TV antenna coax cable quality
The quality of a coax cable is basically determined by the following properties:
- the material of the inner core, which may be copper or steel
- the material of the outer shielding and the density of the weave
- the attenuation value of the cable
Copper or copper-coated steel coax cable
The primary difference between solid copper or copper-clad steel wire is price. The solid copper coaxial cable is more expensive, but for long cable lengths, copper cable is recommended for lower voltage drop.
