TV COAX (IEC) Connector (75 Ohm)
IEC connectors are standard sockets developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission. These plugs provide a safe and reliable connection between TV sets and antennas. They are available in a variety of sizes and designs and can be used for different voltages. One of the most well-known versions is the compressor F-connector, which can be attached to RG-6 cable. This type of plug is also available in both plug and socket versions, but there is also an elbow-shaped version. Read more...

Why do we mostly use the 75 ohm IEC plug that mounts on RG-6 cable?
Compressor F-connectors were developed with characteristics specifically adapted to RG-6 coaxial cable. What are they? These types of connectors can be connected with high precision and can be easily assembled with the cable. Can these compressor F-connectors only be fixed to RG-6 cable?
Of course there are other RG cables that can also be used, such as RG-11, which is mostly designed for outdoor or underground use. But there is also RG-59, which is known to be used for low frequency transmissions. RG-6, however, has become standard in recent years and has replaced other coaxial cables.
Advantages of IEC connectors
These types of connectors have a number of advantages. One of their most important features is their reliability. They are also known for their high durability. The second characteristic of these plugs is that they are standardised. This means they can be used worldwide without worrying about incompatibility.
In general, these connectors are available in various sizes and configurations to meet the needs of different applications. Fourthly, this type of socket guarantees a safe connection, i.e. protection against short circuits and other electrical hazards.
Where to use 75 ohm IEC plugs?
RG-6 compression IEC connectors can be used in a wide range of applications. For example, electronic appliances, televisions, computers and audio equipment. This type of plug allows for easy use, maintenance and repair.
