What should we look out for when buying a transceiver antenna? These devices are now mainly equipped with a UHF or VHF antenna. You must therefore make sure that the connector is the right one, otherwise you will need an adapter, in which case the reception may be degraded. Also, pay attention to which band the antenna is for.
It makes a difference whether you are using it for the aviation band or the amateur band.
