Two-Way Radio External Speaker
- further categoriesExternal speakers are a prominent group of transceiver accessories. Their use is greatly influenced by whether there is someone else in the room where we are using them who might be disturbed by our conversation. If so, we should use headphones or headsets instead. If we are alone in the room and are disturbed by having a transceiver headset on our head, we should use a transceiver external speaker. The question many of us then ask is: which one should we choose? Read more...

A strong and durable outer casing also guarantees a long service life. You should also make sure that the external speaker is equipped with a switch to control the volume. This way, you can hear what you want to hear clearly and loudly enough even if you are a little further away from the device.
In the DND Telecom webshop you will find a wide range of Motorola, Hytera, Icom, Sepura, EADS and Albrecht transceiver external speakers. These devices usually have an impedance of 8 ohms. Their speakers usually have a power output of between 5 and 13 W, but you can also find much more powerful ones. For example, the Icom SP-37 external speaker has a power output of 40W. These external speakers are mainly used with CB radios or amateur transceivers. They provide the perfect solution, as they allow you to do more than just monitor the communication on the transceiver.
